Garlic and Herb Infused Olive Oil
Ingredients:
- 2 cups extra virgin olive oil
- 8-10 medium to large cloves of garlic, finely chopped
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1 tsp dried rosemary
- 1⁄2 tsp salt
- 1⁄4 tsp freshly ground black pepper
Directions:
Combine all ingredients in a small pot on stove over low heat and simmer for 10-15 minutes or until the garlic is lightly golden. I keep this around to use in salad dressings, for sautéing vegetables, in pasta salads, etc. The possibilities are endless!
