Fall Off the Bone Ribs

Ingredients:

  • 1 slab baby back ribs
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • 1 tbsp. coconut sugar (OMIT for WHOLE30)
  • 1 tbsp. onion powder
  • 1 tbsp. garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp. smoked paprika (can substitute chili powder)
  • 2 tsp cumin
  • 2 tsp coriander

Directions:

Mix all seasonings together in a small bowl. If you have leftover seasoning, store in pantry for future use.

Place the ribs in a pan with sides or casserole dish and season liberally with spice mixture. Rub mixture into meat. Cover with aluminum foil. Store in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours to marinate. When you are ready to cook, preheat oven to 275 degrees. Next, place ½ cup water in the bottom of the pan. Place in the preheated oven covered with foil for 4 hours.

Once finished cooking, apply your favorite BBQ sauce or make your own to the top and either place back into the oven on broil for 2-3 minutes to caramelize the top or place onto a preheated grill to crisp the outside. Enjoy! These are perfect for a holiday!
