The Perfect Salad

  • Choose your base (romaine, arugula, spring mix, kale, spinach)
  • Add your protein (grilled chicken, roasted chicken, steak, tuna, shrimp, salmon)
  • Add all the veggies (peppers, carrots, mushrooms, onions or roasted veggies like sweet potato or butternut squash)
  • Add some fruit (dries fruit like raisins, cranberries or fresh like blueberries, strawberries, apples, pears, grapes)
  • Add heathy fat (nuts like almonds, pecans, walnuts, pepitas or seeds like hemp, chia, or sunflower or add avocado for healthy fat)
  • Add fresh herbs like cilantro, basil, parsley, or dill
